This year (2001) the newly founded idealistic association Föreningen Sigurdspelet (Sigurd's drama Association) assumed the responsibility for the drama from the theatre company Theorikateatern. The play opened in 1997 and since has been performed about 50 times. The play is written and directed by Theresia Holmstedt-Jensen. Föreningen Sigurdspelet is dedicated to this play, and the intention is to give about five performances per year in an enclosed pasture just outside Eskilstuna. Special performances of the play, both in Swedish and English, can be arranged at a stage of your choice. For more information about the drama and/or the association click here! |
